Samus can also move forward while she is shooting Power Beams. Samus fires Waves Beams from her Arm Cannon that allows her to fire three shots simultaneously from her cannon, covering a wider area of attack, just like in Metroid Dread! By repeadely tapping A, She'll shoot out rapidly fired beams that goes a long distance, but do not make the opponent flinch and they lose power the farther they travel. Her fiery burst attacks on her normals will turn into icy burst attacks, but will deal less damage and knockback than usual. (Meaning that the opponent will instead turn blue, and just stays in place for a bit, just like in the games!). Ice Beams/Missiles will move slower and deal less damage, but can freeze opponents in place if hit. To get out of Morph Ball form, just press up on the control stick, and she will return to normal!īy holding sheild and pressing B, Samus can toggle between her current Normal mode, and Ice mode! This will mainly affect her Neutral Special and her Jab/Forward Tilt, where as the Charge Beam and Super Missile will turn into Ice Beam and Ice Missile respectively. By Smash-inputting her Down B, then Samus would drop a Power Bomb! When Samus deploys a Power Bomb, Samus can't drop any more bombs after that until the Power Bomb explodes (which is approximately 2 seconds). Samus's down special, Bomb, allows her to into her Morph Ball form! She can move around and jump while in Morph Ball form! Now, you just simply press B, and she will deploy a bomb like normal! The bombs will now remain stationary, even in the air, as opposed to just simply dropping.

SMASH ULTIMATE FRAME DATA WIKI SERIES
Samus has a new way of zoning! Her old Neutral Special, Charge Shot, was moved to her Jab/Forward Tilt, where she fires a series of Wave Beams at the opponent that don't make them flinch, but can be rapidly fired, and is long-ranged. Samus also lacks OOS options, too, meaning that Samus struggles when it comes to sheild pressure. While her recovery travels a far distance, it leaves her vulnerable, making her easy to edgeguard.

However, Samus's main weakness is her subpar up-close game, as many of her attacks are slow to come and requires good spacing, giving her poor frame data. Samus has excellent range on her attacks, and boasts great power, and a solid recovery. Samus has slightly below-average run speed, walk speed, above average air speed, average air acceleration, high jump height and high falling speed. Staying true to her series, she specialize in long-ranged combat, keeping her distance and utilizing the many projectiles she has in her kit used to apply pressure from a far away distance to keep the opponent out and prevent them from approaching. Samus is a tall, heavyweight character who fit the role as a Zoner type character.
